The car
A 2013 Ferrari F12berlinetta in Blu America, a dark Ferrari metallic blue, over Rosso Giudecca leather, a United States-specification car manufactured by Ferrari S.p.A. in March 2013. The odometer reads 19,402 miles. The F12berlinetta replaced the 599 GTB Fiorano in 2012 as Ferrari's front-engined V12 berlinetta. Its 6,262 cc naturally aspirated V12 is rated at 740 CV (730 hp) and 690 Nm, driving the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transaxle, with carbon-ceramic brakes as standard. Ferrari quoted 0–100 km/h in 3.1 seconds and a top speed above 340 km/h. Pininfarina's body carries the Aero Bridge channel through the bonnet and the Active Brake Cooling ducts. The door-jamb certification label records the March 2013 manufacture date, a gross vehicle weight rating of 4,409 lb and the car's conformity with US federal safety, bumper and theft-prevention standards, with the VIN shown above. The car sits on forged 20-inch wheels with yellow brake callipers. Inside, the Rosso Giudecca leather seats carry Daytona-style stitching, with Ferrari aluminium sill plates. No departure from factory specification is recorded. Routine oil changes are reported to have been carried out; no service records or invoices accompany the car.
